Overview

Fix My Appointment is clinic management and appointment booking software for Indian clinics, small hospitals and independent doctors, operated by HYLISH Technologies. It replaces phone-call booking and paper registers with online appointment booking, session-wise patient queueing, doctor and staff management, digital prescriptions and patient records — in one system, run from a browser.

The product is built around a single idea: a clinic should not need an IT manager to run it. Registration takes minutes, no software is installed, and a clinic gets a public booking page the same day it verifies its email and mobile number.

Who it's for

Three distinct roles, each with their own dashboard and their own view of the data.

🏥

Clinics & hospitals

Register once, add unlimited doctors and staff on every plan, and run the day from a single dashboard — queue, vitals, prescriptions and billing.

🩺

Doctors

One identity across every clinic a doctor practises at. Doctors write prescriptions, manage their own availability, and can be independent — practising from home under their own name, with no separate clinic entity required.

🙋

Patients

Find a clinic or doctor, book a session, and get an Appointment ID, serial number and QR code instantly — nothing to install, no phone call, no waiting for a callback.

Features

Grouped by what each set of features is actually for, rather than a flat marketing list.

📅 Booking & queue management

  • Online appointment booking by doctor and consulting session
  • Session-wise serial numbers — a doctor's evening session restarts its own queue rather than continuing the morning's count
  • Walk-in booking by clinic staff for patients without an account
  • Sandbox Test Mode for trying the product with data that never touches real records

🏢 Clinic & staff management

  • Unlimited doctors and staff on every plan
  • Per-staff permissions (e.g. who is allowed to book appointments)
  • Multi-clinic switching for a Super Admin or a group operating several locations
  • Doctor availability set as consulting sessions, not individual time slots

🔗 Doctor network

  • A permanent Doctor System ID that follows a doctor across every clinic they practise at
  • Location-aware public doctor finder
  • Independent doctors (no separate clinic name) are fully supported

℞ Prescriptions & records

  • Digital prescriptions rendered as a branded, downloadable PDF
  • QR-verifiable prescriptions, so authenticity can be checked without exposing full patient details to whoever scans it
  • One canonical patient record per person, carried across every visit

💳 Billing & subscriptions

  • Recurring subscriptions via Razorpay — UPI, cards, net banking, wallets
  • GST-compliant tax invoices, generated automatically per payment
  • Coupon codes for discounted or fully-comped plans
  • A Sandbox Test Mode for billing, to rehearse a plan change before it touches a live subscription

💬 Patient communication

  • Automated email and SMS appointment confirmations
  • A WhatsApp option to send a formatted confirmation to the patient
  • Fixy, an in-app assistant that answers product questions by typing or voice
  • Smart Audio Podcast — a narrated, two-host audio guide to any page, for anyone who'd rather listen than read

🔒 Security & verification

  • Email + mobile OTP verification at clinic registration
  • New clinic listings cross-checked against Google Maps before appearing publicly
  • Server-enforced clinic data isolation (see Security & data)

How it works

Booking an appointment, as a patient

Find & choose

Search the doctor finder or open a clinic's own booking page, then pick a doctor and an available consulting session.

Book in a few taps

Confirm patient details and the appointment is booked instantly — no phone call, no waiting for a callback.

Show up & scan

Arrive with the QR code from the confirmation. Reception scans it instead of asking for a name or an ID to be spelled out.

Onboarding a clinic

Register & verify

Enter the clinic's details and verify with an email and mobile OTP.

Add doctors & sessions

Attach doctors and set their consulting sessions. The clinic gets a public booking page and Clinic Code immediately after verification.

Run the day

Queue, vitals, prescriptions and billing — all from one clinic dashboard, the same day patients start booking.

Plans & pricing

Every clinic starts on a free 30-day trial with full access — no card required. After the trial, plans are billed monthly in Indian Rupees, and every plan includes unlimited doctors and unlimited staff: billing scales with patient-visit volume, not headcount. Every payment generates a GST-compliant invoice automatically.

Because prices and plan tiers can change, this page deliberately doesn't quote numbers — see the pricing page for what's currently on offer.

Technology & infrastructure

Built as a browser-first web app rather than something requiring a native install, and installable as a Progressive Web App for anyone who wants an app-like icon on their home screen.

☁️

Backend & hosting

Runs on Google Cloud via Firebase — Cloud Firestore, Cloud Functions, Firebase Auth and Cloud Storage — hosted in the Mumbai (India) region, so clinic and patient data stays within India.

💳

Payments

Subscription billing runs through Razorpay, supporting UPI, cards, net banking and wallets, with automatic recurring charges and GST invoicing.

Security & data protection

  • Role-based access — a clinic owner, clinic staff member, doctor, patient, admin and Super Admin each see only what their role permits, enforced on the server rather than hidden in the interface.
  • Server-enforced clinic isolation — which clinic an appointment belongs to is derived from the doctor's own record, not from anything the browser sends, so one clinic cannot read or write another clinic's patient data.
  • Privacy-conscious QR codes — an appointment QR encodes only a link identifying the appointment, never patient details, so a scanned or forwarded code doesn't leak personal information.
  • Verified onboarding — clinics verify by email and mobile OTP, and new listings are cross-checked against Google Maps before appearing publicly.
  • India data residency — clinic and patient data is stored on Google Cloud infrastructure in the Mumbai (asia-south1) region.

Glossary

Terms used throughout the product and this documentation.

Clinic Code
The identifier a clinic uses to sign in, and that staff quote when referring patients to the right clinic on the network.
Doctor Code
A short code identifying one doctor, used at registration and when attaching an existing doctor to a new clinic.
Doctor System ID
A doctor's permanent identity across the whole network. The same doctor keeps one Doctor System ID even when practising at several clinics.
Patient ID
One canonical identifier per patient, matched server-side so a person's visit history stays on a single record instead of fragmenting across separate bookings.
Appointment ID
A unique identifier generated for every booking, used to look up the appointment, print the slip, and encode the appointment QR code.
Serial Number
A patient's queue position for one doctor, on one date, in one consulting session. Counting restarts at 1 for the next session the same day.
Test Mode
A sandbox state for a clinic or patient account, used to trial the product with data that never mixes with real appointments or billing.
Appointment QR
A QR code on the booking confirmation that encodes a link identifying the appointment. It carries no personal information itself.
